Japan Overseas Corporation - (JOC) has been authorized by the Embassy of India, Tokyo to handle Visa applications for all categories from Japanese and all other third country nationals except Diplomatic, Official and UN Passport holders.

This website is designed to offer information and guidance about the Indian Visa Application Process.

This website will soon be available with Online Visa Application capabilities and individual with proper documents can apply for the Indian Visa online and track the status of their application.

Indian Visa Applicant's can use the online option or they can come in person to the Application Center with the appropriate documents listed in the Visa section of this website.

The Indian Visa Application Center performs a number of routine administrative tasks on behalf of the Indian Embassy, but has no involvement in the visa decision-making process.

Important Notice

Applicants wishing to apply for "Tourist Visa" within six(6)months of the date of their last departure from India, may kindly deposit their applications at a designated counter in the India Visa Application Center.

The staff at the designated counter in the India Visa Application Center will then arrange for such applicants to see the Consular Officer at

Applications received between 9:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Friday	between 5:30pm and 6:00pm the next day
Applications received between 1:30pm - 4:00pm or on a Saturday	between 5:30pm and 6:00pm after two working days
